Jeevan B. Ramakrishnan, MD
Dr. Ramakrishnan completed his medical school training at the University of Texas-Houston and his otolaryngology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in advanced rhinology, allergy, and minimally invasive skull base surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
He currently serves as the director of the Raleigh Capitol Sinus and Allergy Center and specializes in the comprehensive management of nasal and sinus disorders, including nasal obstruction, allergies, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps and pediatric sinusitis. He also performs nasal surgery, primary and revision sinus surgery, frontal sinus surgery, and in-office sinus procedures. His practice also includes all aspects of adult and pediatric ENT.
“I became a doctor because I wanted to dedicate my life and career to helping others, “ he said. “I had ear tubes placed as a child after suffering with painful ear infections. I have watched my mother suffer with allergies all her life. I have suffered from sinus problems myself. This personal experience with ENT conditions, coupled with a fascination with these parts of the human body and the medical and surgical treatments of these conditions, led me to pursue this specialty. “
He is a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society and is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He was born and raised in Texas and now resides in Raleigh with his wife and two children.
